That is to say, have 80% of your nutritional intake at not below 5.0 pH. Almost all vegetables range from 5-7 pH, and are alkaline forming and almost all fruits range from 6-7.5 pH, also alkaline forming.

Each number on the pH scale is logarithmic. Something that is a 2 acid forming is ten times more so than something that is a 3, and one-hundred times more acid forming than a 4.
